The directions to the villa started 'put the car infirst gear'

Settling in
Dinner with everyone here from their boats and trains andplanes. Nitsa knitted together a feast for the diabetic gluten vegetarian group we are. And then of course there was the Settesoli Syrah recommended by the Zurich train conductor. A table of laughter love and peace. Dolce Vita. Lots of fun - so many stories to tell. But for tonight. And right now. We are all gathered.
Now it's just total silence. You can hear the blood rush in your ears - it's that quiet. Outside the leaves make noises when the wind blows - a cricket chirp - an occasional bird call. It's an overcast day muddling things even more.
The perfect backdrop for jet lag.
